Winning Giordano Designs
Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 6:15AM Everything is funky and fresh with the Pinoy interpretation of “20 years of Giordano in the Philippines,” the theme of Giordano’s 20th anniversary Design-a-printed-tee contest. Designers went all out on this contest, executing masterful techniques with each entry.
But no entry stood out more than the design of Lheo Dayumat, the contest’s grand prize winner, who won P25,000 and a trip for two to Hong Kong.

Dayumat describes his work as inspired by the last 20 years of Philippine history. Sporting patriotic colors of yellow, blue, and red and adding Giordano’s tagline – World Without Strangers – made the design a true masterpiece.
The design contest was launched during Giordno’s 20th anniversary. Designers rendered their ideas in male, female, or unisex oriented tees. The criteria for judging were originality, relevance to the theme, and creative execution.
Four runner-up designs, which won cash prizes, were also chosen by Giordano. All winning designs will be featured in Giordano’s 2010 fall/winter collection beginning September 25. The shirts are available at 599 each and sizes run from XXS to XL.
