Ask Liz! > confused curly

hi miss liz! i got my (rebonded and colored) hair permanently curled 3 months ago but now im tired of maintaining its bounciness and also it became dry. As of now, i just tie them up in a bun every time i go out.

can i get it rebonded again at this point in time?or shud i wait few more months?what could be the best thing i can do with my hair.

thanks

No, best to wait AT LEAST six months to get another treatment or you'll fry your hair. :( Use a good conditioner to combat dryness, and also try a good oil-based serum. You can also have it cut short if you really don't like it anymore.

Hi Kaye! I also have chemically treated hair and is long due for another rebond (as I like my hair straight and ruly). Its important though that hair is in good condition prior to chemical treatments such as rebonding or perming. Im using hair masks from Loreal (P250) a tub alternating with a regular conditioner (Pantene). Then on damp hair, I use Organix Morrocan Argan Oil. It works as a hair serum/leave in conditioner. Not to worry bec its weightless and smells awesome. Hope this helps!

agree with manilajen that you should try to revive the condition of your hair before undergoing another treatment. Try also the Dove Nutri-oil serum.
